It's not often that you get the opportunity to work on a shoot that concentrates on just one part of the wedding day. In this case it was the bridal preparations in the morning. When Victoria from 'Made Your Day' asked if I wanted to be involved in a shoot that highlighted her range of pyjamas and robes for the bridal party I jumped at the chance as I liked what 'Made Your Day' were doing with their high quality, locally made products.
The shoot took place at Botley Hill Barn in Surrey, which was the perfect venue for this shoot. The barn does such a good job of combining an industrial and homely feel and because of it's humongous floor to ceiling windows the outside comes flooding in (as well as massive amounts of beautiful, natural light). We took full advantage of the venue by utilising 3 main areas of their indoor space, namely a large living room style area; a smaller, cosier sofa area; and a large wooden decked wall with one of the floor to ceiling windows.
The final results of the shoot are beautiful and I could talk about them for days but I think one of the beautiful things about photography is that it is such a visual medium, so I'll show you instead :)
A massive thank you to all of those involved:
