Continuing to improve my wedding photography skills

Wedding photography is like pretty much any other job and by that I mean that if you stand still you will get left behind. That's why at the end of 2018 I attended a workshop hosted by The Royal Photographic Society. I strongly believe in continually educating myself with photography and more specifically wedding photography so that I can offer my clients the best possible service that I can.

The business of weddings is changing all the time. New trends are always emerging and what brides and grooms want from their wedding photographer are constantly changing, which is a good thing because it keeps me on my toes and makes sure that I'll never get complacent.

The workshop that I attended was thorough and taught me new things as well as cemented some skills that I already had. The fact that the course was heavily business based was a great thing because if I have a successful, well functioning business then this will filter down to my couples and they will benefit hugely from it.
